‘Run for Your Wife’ production today

CANASTOTA >> Present Company Production­s will present a dinner theater April 20-23 and April 2830 at the Rusty Rail Party House, Route 5.

The show, “Run For Your Wife,” by Ray Cooney, revolves around John Smith, an English taxi driver who has two wives in two towns, Mary and Barbara. Enter two detectives, who want to find out the mystery of John’s two addresses. His neighbor, Stanley, tries to help the situation, until a reporter comes on the scene to take John’s picture as a “hero,” after he defends himself from robbery. To add color, Barbara’s neighbor, Bobby, shows up for some laughter.

The cast features Dennis Willard, Bob Lastine, Chrissy Collier, Meghan Wilson, Don Jeffrey, Bruce Morgan, Anita Thibado and Claire Duffy.

Matinees will be Thursday, April 20; Friday, April 21; Sunday, April 23; Friday, April 28; Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30. Evening performanc­es will be offered Saturdays, April 22 and 29.

All matinees begin with a buffet dinner at noon and theater at 1:30 p.m. Evening performanc­es will have dinner at 6 p.m. followed by theater at 7 p.m.

The cost is $31 for dinner and theater for adults and $29 for seniors and students. Tickets for the play only are $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. Anyone donating two canned goods can deduct $1 from the cost of the theater ticket.
