Health & Wellness Fair

ONEIDA >> North Broad Street Elementary School will present its 9th annual Health & Wellness Fair on Friday, May 19 from4:30-6 p.m.

The event will feature 20 local organizations offering information regarding health concerns, insurance needs, health services, and an array of options to connect families to sources of information in this area. Activities will include handmassages ( Madison- Oneida BOCES), inflatable obstacle course (Airtime Inflatables, LLC), fire truck in- spections (Oneida Fire Department), Child Safe IDs (Madison County Sheriffs), and face painting (Oneida NHS students). Healthy snacks will be offered free of charge including yogurt donated by Chobani,

In keeping with the fair’s tradition of raising funds to benefit not-forprofit organizations, organizers will be collecting donations for the Foodbank of Central NY. By bringing in a non-perishable food item, participants can earn free raffle tickets with the opportunity win prizes including an iPod shuffle with an iTunes gift card, passes to the Oneida Community Golf Course, a $50 Walmart gift card, a free week of summer camp fromthe YMCA, and a foot massager.

Also, the North Broad Street Health & Wellness Fair will have a “Ride with Ram” activity. For every test drive taken, Wilber Duck Chevrolet will donate $10 to North Broad Street Elementary and the driver will earn raffle tickets to win prizes. Drivers must be at least 21 years old with a valid NYS driver’s license.
