**Figures from the Annual Report submitted to NYS. (NYS’s most recent publication date)

As you can see we offer one of the lowest cost per person per year than any other library. Taking in cost increases and higher wages, insurance, etc., (and having a very frugal library manager), we do very well with what we have and what we offer to our larger community.

We provide a lot of services to our community at a very low cost to everyone. A book these days costs on average $28.95 but for $20 per person, we can get hundreds of books and other materials for our community. I encourage you to try our savings calculator on our website and see if you had to purchase items how much it would cost you. (Your total would be a lot more than $20 a person.) The calculator can be found here: www.midyorklib.org/morrisville/services/what-is-your-library-worth-to-you/.

We welcome everyone to attend our board meetings. They are every other month, the third Thursday at 6:30 p.m. starting in January. Our next meeting will be on Thursday, May 18 at 6:30 p.m.

Thank you for your time and I hope we can count on your vote as we ask for a small increase of $4,752 for 2018 today at the ER Andrews Elementary School. Voting is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
