Sherry Anne joins the Collingsworth Family for concert
WHITESBORO >> Singing News 2017 Top 10 Favorites will be in concert when The Collingsworth Family and Sherry Anne visit Crosspoint Church, 317 Oriskany Blvd. on Wednesday, May 24 at 7 p.m.
The Collingsworth Family includes Phil and Kim Collingsworth, son Phillip, and daughters Courtney, Brooklyn, and Olivia. In additional to vocal harmony, Phil plays the trumpet, Kim is known for her mastery of the piano, Phillip adds guitar, and Brooklyn and Courtney are already a celebrated violin duo with their first CD released in 2016.
The Collingsworth Family performs internationally, and has filmed concert events at the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra Hall and with the Flint, Mich. Symphony Orchestra.
Sherry Anne was born with a bilateral hearing and speech impairment, yet sings with a voice that perfectly blends a passion for Southern Gospel, Country, and Blues music with her deep faith. She shares an inspirational journey from obstacles early in life, through achieving beauty pageant crowns, athletic awards, academic scholarships, and a doctor of chiropractic degree to finding her mission as a Gospel singer and speaker. She has just released her fifth CD.
Sherry Anne has performed at Dollywood, the National Quartet Convention and across the U. S. While headlining the 2017 God’s Worthy Women conference in South Texas in February, she traveled to northern Mexico to record a public service announcement for the International Christian Centers for the Deaf.
