Mark R. Friske, 51, of Canastota

CANASTOTA » Mark R. Friske, 51, of Oneida Valley Road, died Wednesday, May 31, 2017.

Born in Oneida, on Dec. 25, 1965, he was the son of Gerald J. and Patricia Doran Friske. A lifelong resident of this area, Mark was a graduate of Oneida High School, Mohawk Valley Community College with a degree in mechanical engineering and Herkimer County Community College with a degree in physical therapy assistance. He married Cheryl Whitcombe in St. Agatha’s Church on July 29, 1994.

Mark was self-employed as a general contractor..

Surviving besides his wife, Cheryl, and his parents, Gerald and Patricia Friske of Oneida, are his daughter, Megan Marie Friske, at home; his son, Mark A. Friske, at home; his two sisters, Pamela A. (Chris) Dunn of Sherrill and Karen L. Petramale of Queensbury; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held, at the convenience of the family, from the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main St., Oneida. Interment will be made in Valley View Cemetery.
