Charles S. Borys, 68, of Sherrill

SHERRILL » Charles S. Borys, age 68, of Sherrill passed away unexpectedly early Saturday morning, June 17, 2017 at his home.

He was born on Nov. 7, 1948 in Syracuse, N.Y. a son of the late Casmir S. and Nadine (Rudado) Borys and was a graduate of Cicero-N. Syracuse School System.

On Feb. 14, 1983 Charles and Sandra L. Hoffman were united in marriage in Sherrill, N.Y. and have shared this union of over 34 years together.

Prior to his retirement Charles was employed as an electrician with the Conmed Corporation of Utica.

In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.

Surviving are his wife, Sandra of Sherrill; two sons, Charles (Jennifer) Borys of Cicero, Timothy W. (Susan) Roberts of Utica, N.Y.; two daughters, Amy Beth (Greg) Carrico of Mattydale, Sara Beth McCormick of Washingtonville, N.Y.; four granddaughters, Carmella Mae, Alexis, Gwyneth and Emma Michaela Borys McCormick; one sister-in-law, Julianne Borys of Bridgeport; several nieces and nephews, and two special fiends, Cassie Loo and Annee Bananee.

Charles was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Gregory Borys, and a son, Michael A. Borys.

In keeping with Charles wishes there will be no public calling hours or funeral services. Private burial will be at the family’s convenience. Arrangements are with the Malecki Funeral Home of Sherrill. Online condolences may be sent to maleckifuneralhome.com
