Canastota

Canastota VFW Post 600 on Canal Street will host a Car Cruise the third Wednesday of each month through Sept. 20 from 5-8 p.m. There will be food and music.

The Canastota Memorial VFW Post 600, 3835 Canal Road conducts Bingo every Friday at 7 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m. Progressive Bonanza, 2 - 60/40 Share the Wealth, pull tabs. Snack bar with food and refreshments. They sell all kinds of flags. For more information call (315) 697-5105.

Cazenovia

The Cazenovia American Legion Post 88 has flags for sale at the Cazenovia Chamber of Commerce. These are high quality flags made in the USA. They are polyester with hand sewn stars. Prices are $28 for 3x5 foot and $35 for 4x6 foot. They also have cemetery flags for $5 and parade f lags for 50 cents available. Chittenango

The William H. Cain American Legion and Auxiliary, 707 Mohawk St., Chittenango will meet at 7:30 p.m. every third Monday of the month.

Munnsville

Munnsville American Legion will have steamed clams every Thursday from 5-8 p.m. through the summer. The cost is $7.50 per dozen. Other items will be available.

The Munnsville American Legion meeting for Legion members will be held the second Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at the post home.

Munnsville American Legion Wing Night every Wednesday beginning at 5 p.m.

Oneida Legion Post 169 will hold Wing Night on Mondays from 4- 8 p.m. Tuesday Night will feature home-cooked dinner specials. Check out the Legion’s Facebook page for all upcoming events. American Legion Post 1153 will serve 50 cent wings every Sunday from 2-7 p.m.

Syracuse

The VA has immediate openings for volunteer drivers to transport veterans to medical appointments. Candidates must pass a medical exam, undergo a successful background check, have a valid driver’s license, hold a safe driving record and carry current auto insurance. Vernon

The American Legion Auxiliary William Russell Post 404 will meet at 6:30 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month at the legion home, West Seneca Street. The Sons of Post 404 will meet at the Legion at 6:30 p.m. every second Monday of the month. The Legion Veterans will meet at Post 404 at 6:30 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month.

Verona

The Auxiliary of the Verona Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 6811 will meet the third Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the Verona VFW, Spring Road.
