VERONA >> Olga P. Peploski, 93, formerly of Collins Road, died Thursday, July 20, 2017 in the Waterville Residentia­l Care Center, where she had been a resident for the past three and a half years.

Born in Rome, on Sept. 17, 1923, she was a daughter of Angelo and Filomena Pastore Perfetti. A lifelong resident of the area, she was educated at Rome Free Academy. Olga married Fred Peploski on April 17, 1953 in St. John the Baptist Church in Rome. Mr. Peploski died Aug. 30, 2014.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Peploski was employed by Griffiss Air Force Base. She was a communican­t of St. John’s the Baptist Church and was a member of the Gals Club and enjoyed playing golf. Olga and Fred loved to travel across the United States and Canada, and her travels to Europe.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was predecease­d by four brothers, James, Albert, Joseph and Anthony Perfetti and two sisters, Mary Vaccaro and Jennie Kretser.

Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Tuesday from the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main St., Oneida and 10 a.m. from St. Francis Church where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Joseph Kehoe. Interment will be made in St. Mary’s of the Irish Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3-7 p.m. Monday.
