Vernon: Live harness racing at Vernon Downs, 6:45 p.m. Vernon: Tompkins Drive will perform at Ring Eyed Pete’s Bar at Vernon Downs, 9 p.m. to 1a.m. Verona: Laurie Dapice Duo will perform in the TS Steakhouse at Turning Stone Resort and Casino, 6p.m. Verona: Asleep at the Wheel will perform in the Showroom at Turning Stone Resort and Casino, 8p.m. Verona: Gridley Paige Unplugged will perform in the Motif at Turning Stone Resort and Casino, 8p.m. Verona: Classified will perform in the Turquoise Tiger at Turning Stone Resort HAMILTON, N.Y. » The Local Music Project returns for its sixth Fall season Tuesday, Sept. 5 to present country singer-songwriter Greg Hoover and local duo The Hamilton Ramblers.

Hoover’s CD was nominated for a SAMMY award, and he returns to the LMP for the third time with a host of great songs.

In the second set, duo The Hamilton Ramblers, featuring Dave Folta on mandolin and John Crespi on guitar, will perform their own set of bluegrass tunes.

The Local Music Project provides a venue where top local amateur musicians can play a full concert for an attentive audience.

All shows begin at 7 p.m. in the Number 10 Tavern in Hamilton.
