ONEIDA6, CAZENOVIA1 » The Oneida girls tennis squad won the Chittenang­o Tournament on Tuesday, knocking off defending Section III Class B champion Cazenovia and the hosting Chittenang­o Bears. For Oneida, the victory over Cazenovia avenges a 4-3 loss in Section III Class B final. In the Oneida-Cazenovia-matchup, four of the seven matches required a third set as the two Section III heavyweigh­ts enjoyed a spirited contest. ONEIDA 7, CHITTENANG­O0 » Oneida shut out the hosts of the tournament en route to a tourney victory. CENTRAL VALLEY ACADEMY 4, VERNON-VERONA-SHERRILL 3 » The Central Valley Academy girls tennis squad picked up its first win of the season at home against Vernon-Verona-Sherrill. Boys Golf CHITTENANG­O226, TULLY 235 » Cole Dunkley and Tanner Laramee each shot a 41 to lead to Chittenang­o to victory over Tully. Tully’s Wyatt Brown shot a match low 38.

ONEIDA3, CAMDEN1 » Rachel Deruby scored two goals and Adiana Chapa added another as Oneida beat the Camden Blue Devils on Tuesday. Kyra Shlotzhaue­r made seven saves for the hosts and Abigail Carroll added two saves of her own as Oneida posted a shutout over Camden. Aislynn Rose scored the lone goal for the visitors. Boys Soccer HAMILTON4, WATERVILLE 1» Erik Geier laced two shots in the back of net to lead the Emerald Knights to a Tuesday night victory over Waterville. Spencer Thomas and Eamon Pendleton-Witherspoo­n each added a goal as well for Hamilton as the hosts earned the 4-1 victory. CLINTON11. CANASTOTA 0» Clinton reached double digit scoring in Tuesday night’s win over Canastota. Nine different players scored for Clinton in a balanced offensive attack. ONEIDA2, CAMDEN0 » Oneida notched a league victory on Tuesday, defeating the Camden Blue Devils 2-0. Alex Vaccaro had a goal and an assist for Oneida. Zach Friend also scored for the hosts and Isaac Colvin added an assist.

CAZENOVIA7, CHITTENANG­O 0» Cazenovia’s Kaitlyn Puffer and Annie Gale fended off Katie Simmon and Chloe Foran in the fourth doubles match to help the Lakers to a 7-0 victory.
