Book sale a rousing success

The “Friends Group” of the Sherrill Kenwood Library recently held its second annual Used Book Sale. The sale was very successful due to the hard work of many people who willingly donated their time to help our library. As the library manager also representing our staff and Library Board of Trustees I amvery grateful for the support of our “Friends Group.”

In the past year the Friends Group have assisted the library in fundraising efforts, supported our annual “Spring” for Books Event, croquet nights, face painting at the Sherrill concerts and sponsored performers for our Summer Reading Program.

Plans are underway for our third annual Book Sale, September 2018 to be held at the CAC Building in Sherrill.

Thank you to all who donated and purchased materials at our recent sale.
