Area students who completed their graduate studies in spring 2017 at SUNY Oswego were recognized in May at the college’s Commencement.

Laura A. Livingston of Canastota earned a master of business administration degree in management.

Sarah A. Hasegawa of Hamilton earned a master of science degree in mental health counseling.

The following local students completed their baccalaureate studies at SUNY Oswego in spring 2017 and were recognized during Commencement in May:

SUNY Oswego has named these students from the area to the President’s List for spring 2017 for earning grade point averages of 3.80 and above on the 4.00 scale:

Samantha Prossner, a member of the class of 2017 from Cazenovia, has been named to the spring 2017 Dean’s List at Loyola University Maryland.

Carlyne Hazer of Cazenov i a and Paige Wooldridge of Chittenango were named to the SUNY New Paltz Dean’s List for outstanding academic achievement during the spring 2017 semester.

The following local students graduated during Rochester Institute of Technology’s 132nd commencement celebration, held in May: Christopher Fisher of Oneida, Megan Hyla of Chittenango, Emily Marris of Cazenovia, Allyssa Mroczek of Cazenovia, Cory Musician of Earlville, Delanie Spangler of Cazenovia.

Mary Elizabeth Sheridan of Oneida graduated in May from the University of Rhode Island. Sheridan received a bachelor of science degree in communicative disorders, summa cum laude.

Sean Maliga of Cazenovia earned Dean’s List honors at Saint Joseph’s University for the spring 2017 semester. Maliga studies international business in the university’s Haub School of Business.
