FORT BICYCLE TOUR
On Saturday, Sept. 30, Fort Stanwix National Monument will offer a bicycle tour in honor of the 200th anniversary of the Erie Canal and 240th anniversary of the Battle of Oriskany. The 12mile round trip begins at Bellamy Harbor Park in Rome at 10a.m. and continues down the Erie Canal Trail before heading to the Oriskany Battlefield State Historic Site. The tour will conclude around 2p.m. back at Bellamy Harbor Park. For more information, call (315) 338-7730.
