Annual Book Sale

CANASTOTA » Friends of the Canastota Public Library have gathered more than 3,000 books for their annual book sale, scheduled for Oct. 26, 27 and 28 at the library, 102 W. Center St.

A pre-sale for Friends of the Library members only will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 25 from 3:30-8 p.m. Memberships can be renewed at the library at any time prior to the sale date. The times for the rest of the week are Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In addition to hard cover and paperback books, there will be Books on CD, DVDs, Audio Tapes, CDs, and raffle baskets.

Donations for the sale will be accepted until Oct. 18. Books should be in good condition and no more than three years old. The Friends cannot accept encyclopedias, text books or anything that is moldy or damaged.
