VERONA » The First Presbyterian Church at Verona will host a free Community Dinner on Thursday, Sept. 28 from 4:30-6 p.m. The First Presbyterian Church is located on the corner of Rock Road and Main Street. Clothing consignments accepted
ONEIDA » The Second Hand Rose Consignment Shop of First Presbyterian Church is now accepting consignments of fall and winter women’s and children’s clothing (through size 10). The store is located on Stone Street next to the church with parking in the rear. Second Hand Rose is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and accepting consignment items from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Small household items are accepted year round.
Harvest Dinner at Delta UMC
ROME » Delta United Methodist Church will hold a Harvest Dinner on Friday, Sept. 29 from 4:30-7 p.m. at the church, corner of Hawkins Corners Road and Route 26N. The menu will include roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, squash, corn, rolls, pie and beverage. Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for ages 5-12 and free for children 4 and younger. Take outs will be available. The church is handicapped accessible.

MADISON » Madison United Methodist Church will hold a pancake breakfast Saturday, Sept. 30 from 7-10 a.m. at the church, Route 20. The menu will include pancakes, sausage, home fries, scrambled eggs, orange juice and coffee. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for ages 5-12.

UTICA » Uarda Temple No. 24, Daughters of the Nile will hold a Fall Harvest Dinner and Bazaar on Sunday, Oct. 1 from 12-2 p.m. at Utica Masonic Hall, 251 Genesee St., second floor. Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for children 5-12 and free for ages 4 and younger. Themenuwill include roast pork, dressing, potatoes, vegetable, applesauce, roll, beverage and homemade pies. Take outs will be available. The event will also feature a basket raffle. Proceeds will benefit the group’s General Fund.

UTICA » The 35th Family Rosary Crusade for Peace will be held Sunday, Oct. 1 at St. Joseph/St. Patrick Church, 702 Columbia St. Guest speaker is the Rev. Ken Geraci of Divine Mercy Fathers.
