ONEIDA » Jessica M. Froelick, 34, Stone Street, died early Sunday morning, Nov. 5, surrounded by family and friends, after a well fought battle with metastatic breast cancer.

Born in Oneida, on Sept. 27, 1983, she was a daughter of Charles O. and Deborah Osborne Jones. A lifelong resident of the area, Jessica was a graduate of Oneida High School, Class of 2001. She later received her degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from Morrisvill­e College. Jessica married Joe Froelick in Canastota, on Aug. 14, 2010. She was of the Catholic faith.

Prior to her most recent diagnosis, Jessica was employed at Icon Developmen­t Solutions as a Medical Laboratory Technologi­st. She was previously employed at the Oneida Healthcare Center as a phlebotomi­st.

Two of Jessica’s favorite people in life were her two boys, Logan and Tyler. She loved watching them play Pop Warner football and enjoyed time at Oneida Recreation Center. Jessica was very active with Madison County Relay for Life. Founding Team SaveA-Rack in 2013, she led her team that raised over $10,000 to a first place finish. She was an advocate for metastatic breast cancer patients and was witnessed helping others right up to her final days. Always putting people before herself, Jessica was the person who always had a smile on her face. She made the best out of every situation. Her courage will be remembered, as she was capable of teaching life lessons, when they were least expected but most needed.

Surviving, besides her husband, Joe, are two sons, Logan and Tyler, both at home; her father and mother, Chuck and Deborah Jones; her mother-inlaw, Kelly Froelick; her sister, Michelle Jones and her niece, Meadow Petzoldt all of Oneida; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, from the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main St., Oneida, with the Deacon Jim Chappelle, officiatin­g. Interment will be made in Wampsville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, 4-8 p.m., Thursday.
