Brendan Farnach, CEO of AllSeasonings Ingredients, was honored at the 40 Under Forty Awards among 39 other people who have excelled in the workplace and in the community.

Out of 100 candidates, 40 honorees are chosen, all under the age of 40 for their role in their careers and the communities they live in by six judges.

Each judge ranks the 100 nominees with a numerical score based on their business accomplishments, their civic leadership and achievements they’ve made.

Farnach was one of the many people honored for their work, standing among other businesses and volunteer projects that made a difference, from M&T Bank to the Salvation Army.

“I was humbled at the recognition for what we’ve been doing here at All-Seasonings and I felt excited about it for our entire team. We’ve built this success story here in Oneida,” Farnach said.

Honorees are given an award, recognized in a special commemorative issue of the Business Journal and considered an alumni of the 40 Under Forty honorees.

This was the 20th Anniversary for the awards program and to celebrate, organizers decided to do something different than the luncheon. Events Coordinator Kim Fudge said that this year, the 40 Under Forty awards held an after-hours cocktail reception, featuring live music, exhibitors and a non profit alley, featuring seven nonprofit organizations.

Farnach was proud of All- Seasoning’s accomplishments and was looking to the future.

“I’m proud we now have 60 employees. When we moved up to Oneida in 2003, we had 12 employees,” Farnach said. “For the future, we’re looking to continue expanding both physically and our sales reach. We’ve started discussion for an expansion in the Oneida Business park and we’re looking to add approximately 25,000 square feet of space, which will help us manufacture more of the product we sell nationally.”

At the end of the event, Farnach said that when he came down from the stage and grabbing his one year old daughter and the look of excitement on her face was the most enjoyable thing that night for him.
