Pamela Jean Jayson, 70, of Munnsville
Pamela Jean Jayson, 70, West Road, passed away Saturday morning, Nov. 25, 2017, in the Oneida Healthcare Center, shortly after her admission, as a medical patient.
She was born on Aug. 24, 1947 in Oneida. She was a daughter of Kenneth and Lona Annette Dygert Chesebro. A lifelong resident of the area, Pamela was a graduate of Oneida High School. She married Leo Jayson I, in Stockbridge, on Nov. 27, 1984.
Mrs. Jayson was an assistant house manager for the Madison-Oneida ARC, where she greatly enjoyed working with the residents. Her greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving besides her husband, Leo I, are her children and their spouses, Tina and Richard Stay of Marcy, Jeffrey and Stephanie Chesebro of Canastota, Billie Jo and Allen Lenning of Cicero, Leo and Jessica Jayson II of Munnsville, Lee and Taylor Jayson of Morrisville and Bradlee and Anna Burns of Liverpool; her four sisters, Janie Maxwell of Chittenango, Sherry Armlin of Munnsville, Deborah Ripoli of Vernon and Robin Cotter of Wampsville; 15 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Charlene Smith.
