Christmas Eve services

Augusta Presbyterian Church, 2345 Route 26, Oriskany Falls, will hold a candlelight Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 24. The service will feature chamber music, trumpet, choir and a vocal solo by Morgan Lewis. Therewill be singing of carols and the reading of the Christmas story. All are welcome.

The Three Voices Congregation will hold two worship services on Christmas Eve: 10 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Verona and 6 p.m. at Cochran Memorial Presbyterian Church in Oneida Castle.

The morning service at First Presbyterian Church of Verona, corner of Main Street and Rock Road, will be a traditional Advent/ Christmas Eve service with a blend of music, scripture and messages anticipating and proclaiming Christ’s birth. The evening service at Cochran Memorial Presbyterian Church, 11 State St., Oneida Castle, will be a traditional Christmas Eve candlelight service with communion.

The public is invited to attend either or both services. Both churches are handicapped accessible

Durhamville Baptist Church will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight worship at 7 p.m., with Scripture and Song. The church is located at 5294 Church St., Durhamville. Sunday morning worship is at 10 a.m. For information, call (315) 363-3753.

The Georgetown Baptist Church will host a Community Christmas Eve service at 7:30 p.m. The church is on Route 26. All are welcome. For information, call (315) 837-4665.

St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 4897 Old Oneida Road, Verona will hold morning worship on Sunday, Dec. 24 at 10 a.m. Candlelight Christmas Eve services will be held at 4 p.m. and 9 p.m.

On Sunday, Dec. 31, Lessons and Carols for Christmas will be held at 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.

St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Oneida: Masses on Christmas Eve 4 p.m. at St. Joseph’s 5:30 p.m. at St. Patrick’s 10 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Masses on Christmas Day 8:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s St. Patrick’s Church is located at 347 Main St., Oneida.

St. Joseph’s Church is located at 121 St. Joseph Place, Oneida.

Oneida First United Methodist Church, Main and Grove streets, Oneida will hold Christmas Eve worship at 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. The 9 p.m. service will be a Candelight Christmas.

St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 551 Sayles St., Oneida, will hold Christmas Eve worship at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. The 7 p.m. service will be family friendly.

Grace Lutheran Church, 3965 Carter Road, Canastota, will hold a Christmas Eveworshipservice onDec. 24at7p.m. Allarewelcome.

Christ Church United Methodist, 417 Park St., Sherrill, will hold Christmas Eve worship at 10:30 a.m. celebrating the fourth Sunday in Advent. A Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion Service will be held at 7 p.m. The Rev. Robert Kolvik- Campbell will preach “What are the Signs?” Christmas DayWorship will be held at 10 a.m. on Dec. 25. Participants are welcome to come in their pajamas to sing, celebrate, hear a story, and have some birthday cake and coffee.
