-

The John and Elaine MacDougall Foundation recently presented the KEYS Program with a check for $1,000.

The KEYS Program delivers music, hope and big smiles to children impacted by cancer, through music outreach, education and advocacy.

“Thanks to the John and Elaine MacDougall Foundation, the KEYS Program has been able to deliver bags of gifts and holiday music to the doorstep of 89 children who have been impacted by cancer here in Central New York this holiday season,” said Executive Director/Founder Colleen Bennett. “In addition, toys, holiday music and a music guide with information on the benefits of music were provided to local hospital emergency rooms and pediatric units so they may share them with children who have to spend the holiday at the hospital. We are so honored to partner with the MacDougall Foundation to spread holiday joy and smiles to these brave young superheroes when they need it the most.”

The John and Elaine MacDougall Foundation was created after the passing of JohnM. MacDougall in June of 2014 to continue MacDougall’s commitment to the Central New York community.

MacDougall was the founder and former owner of the Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes convenience store chain.
