Tuesday Results Boys Hoops

ONEIDA 59, CAMDEN 41 » Oneida clinched sectional berth with a 59-41 win over Camden on Tuesday, moving to 4-4 in Tri-Valley play with two league games remaining. Alex Vaccaro led all scorers with 13 points in the win, followed by Jacob Vaccaro 12. Carter Steria paced Camden with 12 points.

57, CENTRAL VALLEY ACAD

EMY 42 » VVS took down Central Valley Academy on Tuesday, buoyed by a Bailey Janowski’s 18 points and six rebounds. Davey-Moffett added 12 points and 9 rebounds for the Red Devils in the 57- 42 victory. CVA was led by Brennan Seymour with 20 points. VVS improves 13- 4 on the season.

CHITTENANG­O 94, ALTMARPARI­SH-WILLIAMSTO­WN 44 » Zach Falkenburg poured in a game-high 27 points for Chittenang­o in a win over Altmar-Parish-Williamsto­wn on Tuesday. Dylan Voutsinas added 16 points as the Bears improved to 12-5 on the year with the victory. MADISON 81, BROOKFIELD 46 » Spencer Haviland posted a 27 point, 11 rebound double-double to spur a Madison win over Brookfield on Tuesday. Teammate Sam Matteson finished right behind with 25 points as the Blue Devils improved to 14-3 on the season.

ONEIDA59, CAMDEN33 » Ella Rainbow netted 16 of her game-high 24 points in the first quarter of Tuesday’s Tri-Valley tilt against Camden as Oneida raced out to a 21-7 lead. The cushion was more than enough for Katie Nestler’s side as Oneida went on to win 59-33. Lauren Skibitski added 13 for the Oneida, while Julianna Cavanagh chipped in 7 points and 4 rebounds and was honored at halftime with her NYS Triple Jump Champion Banner. Oneida improves to 15-3 on the year and will look to clinch at least a share of the league title on Friday at Central Valley Academy. VERNON-VERONA-SHERRILL 58, CENTRAL VALLEY ACADEMY 53 » Morgan Brewer, McKenna Berry, Alexa Kiser netted 16 points a piece to help spark a VVS win over Central Valley Academy in league play. Berry added seven steals and nine rebounds to pace the Red Devils in the TVL win. ORISKANY 44, HAMILTON 22 » Oriskany overpowere­d Hamilton on Tuesday behind a game-high 19 points from Jane Fahy 19. Emma Basher and Ashley La Ruffa paced Hamilton with seven points each in the loss.

ONEIDA 56, NEW HARTFORD 44 » Jacob Vaccaro netted a game-high 21 points to lead Oneida to a big win over New Hartford on Monday. John Jones followed with 19 for Oneida in the 55-44 victory. Joseph Murray posted 16 for New Hartford in the loss. ORISKANY 57, ONEIDA 49 » Ricky Phelps poured in 29 points on Monday to lead Oriskany over Hamilton. The Emerald Knights were paced by Trevor Dow’s 23 points in the loss.

CLINTON 46, HAMILTON 41 » Clinton edged Hamilton by five on Monday behind a 13-point effort from Tess Maxam. Hamilton’s Lauren La Ruffa netted a game-high 14 point for the Emerald Knights in the loss. MADISON 61, STOCKBRIDG­E 41 » Madison jumped out to a 18-6 lead over Stockbridg­e Valley on Monday and never looked back, taking a 61- 41 win over their league rival. Kayla Usborne led Madison and all scorers with 24 points, while Ashleigh Staudt paced SV with 17 points.

CHITTENANG­O 3, VERNONVERO­NA-SHERRILL 1 » Chittenang­o (7-3, 2-3) beat VVS (11-2, 4-2) in four sets: 2225, 27-25, 25-14, 25-23. Nick Callahan was instrument­al for the Bears in the win, posting six aces, nine kills, three assists, five blocks, and eighteen digs.
