VERNON >> Andora L. Fort, 52, of 4768 State Route 26, Lot 219, Vernon, died unexpected­ly on Friday, March 2, 2018, at her home. She was born on Jan. 24, 1966, in Oneida, a daughter of Arthur Sr. and Ruby (Brockway) Hartle. Andora spent her early years in Munnsville, attending the Stockbridg­e Valley Central School. She has lived in Vernon for the past 14 years. She has worked in food service for many years, most recently at Wendy’s in Oneida. Andora had a great sense of humor, and was very compassion­ate. She enjoyed coloring, cooking, music, and eating vegetables. She married Curt C. Fort on Sept. 27, 2003, in Munnsville. Surviving besides her husband, Curt, are: one son and daughter-in-law, Joshua Hartle and Melissa Koba of Vernon; her parents, Arthur Sr. and Ruby Hartle of Munnsville; two brothers and sisters-inlaw, George and Lulu Hartle of Munnsville, and Arthur Jr. and Judy Hartle of Rochester; one sister, Tina Wagner of Munnsville; two grandchild­ren, Emily Newan and Dylan Koba; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Private memorial services will be held at the convenienc­e of the family. Pastor Jeff Rogers of the Church of the Nazarene, Canastota, will officiate. Spring burial will be in Lenox Rural Cemetery, Canastota. Arrangemen­ts are under the supervisio­n of the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James St., Canastota. J. HOMER BALL FUNERAL HOME, INC.
