SMOKE FREE MOVIES

Chittenango Middle School students recently hosted a Smoke Free Movie Event to raise awareness about the way the tobacco industry markets its products. The students decided to show “Moana” from Walt Disney Studios, which has banned depictions of smoking in all of its children’s films. Those attending were invited to sign a letter to the Motion Picture Association of America, asking it to consider this policy for all studios.
