Tenney a benefit to the 22nd District
In response to Peter Drumsta’s Letter to the Editor on Tuesday, March 6, what reason does someone who lives in Westchester County (New Rochelle) have to critique our Congresswoman Claudia Tenney? For someone who has lived in NewRochelle, Miami, Florida, and Mamaroneck, N.Y., I cannot figure out what would catch his attention in Central NewYork. He should be more interested in his own representative Elliot Engel, a liberal Democrat who represents the 16th District.
Congresswoman Tenney has some views that not everyone can or should agree with, but overall she has done a good job for our District 22. She is a Conservative, a local business owner, mother of a U.S. Marine, and always available here in the Town of Sullivan when called on.
Liberal Democrats all over New York and the country will be coming down very hard on our Congresswoman Tenney this November. We as Republicans must do our utmost to see that she is re-elected to a second term. This 22nd District cannot become a bouncing ball between Democrats and Republicans!
For Mr. Drumsta to say that Congresswoman Tenney should “return to the obscurity of New Hartford” should have all the good citizens of New Hartford up in arms over the apparent slam on your good city. I don’t believe Mr. Drumsta knows us to well up here in Central New York — am I right?
