VERNON » Vernon United Methodist Church, Route 5, will hold a pancake breakfast on Saturday, April 21 from 7-10 a.m. The menu will include pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, ham, toast and beverages. The cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children 5-10 and free for ages 4 and younger. The church will hold a book sale and bake sale on Friday, April 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

RICHFIELDSPRINGS » The 39th Annual Friendship Craft Festival sponsored by the Church Of Christ Uniting will take place on Saturday, June 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Spring Park on Route 20. The event will also include a bake sale and chicken barbecue served from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Food will also be available from the Richfield Youth Sports organization. The crafters go through a juried process to assure that the items they are offering for sale are truly handmade and fine quality. Crafter application deadline is May 1.
