ONEIDA8, SOUTHJEFFE­RSON2 » After spotting South Jefferson two runs in the top of the first, Oneida rallied for eight runs - six of those scores coming in the third inning - for an 8-2 win. Logan McClelland earned the win for Oneida in five innings of work, striking out four batters while allowing two runs. Offensivel­y for Oneida, Lukas Albro went 2-of-4 with a double and an RBI, and teammate Vinny Leibl finished the day 3-of-4 at the plate with a pair of RBI.

ONEIDA0 » Justin Swavely pitched Rome Free Academy past Oneida on Sunday, allowing just four hits while striking out five in a complete-game shutout. Henry Froass accounted for half of Oneida’s hits on the day, going 2-of-3 with a double.

ONEIDA 2, ICHABOD CRANE 1 » Oneida’s Reilly White is no stranger to extra-inning drama. Earlier this season, she delivered a walkoff single to lift Oneida over Bethlehem. On Saturday, White did it again. This time the dramatics came in the eighth inning of a Mudville Tournament tilt with Ichabod Crane. White connected for a two-RBI single to end the scoring drought and put Oneida up 2-0 in the top of the eight before Mike Curro’s side shut the door for a 2-1 win. Kyra Shlotzhaue­r earned the win for Oneida, pitching eight innings and striking out five.

ONEIDA9, DEPOSIT0 » Kaylin Curro batted 3-of-3 with a double and four RBI to help pace Oneida in a 9-0 win against Deposit on Saturday. Kyra Shlotzhaue­r went the distance for Oneida in the circle, striking out four and scattering four hits in the shutout.

CHITTENANG­O30, MEXICO 10 » Chittenang­o clobbered Mexico for 15 runs four in the sixth inning en route to a 30-10 win. Ten different Bear batters collected a hit and an RBI in the win. Sydney Pellman finished her day 5-of-5 at the plate with four RBI and Natalie Cowburn went 5-of-6 with five RBI.

CANASTOTA2­0, MADISON3 » Jessica Evans doubled, tripled, and drove in three runs to lead Canstota past Madison in the second game of a Satuday double-header. Logan Hood also had a nice day at the plate for Canastota, going 4-of-5 with four RBI. Kacey Cashel earned the win for the Raiders in five innings of work, scattering three hits and seven walks to yield two earned runs.
