MADISON 8, STOCKBRIDG­E VALLEY 7 » Stockbridg­e Valley rallied from a 6-1 fifth inning deficit to force extra innings against CCL rival Madison on Tuesday. Then, in the top half of the eighth inning, Stockbridg­e plated the go-ahead run to cap its rally, but Madison would not be outdone. The Blue Devils put across two runs in the bottom half of the frame to walk off with an 8-7 win. Eamon Shields homered and singled for four RBI to pace Madison at the plate. Wyatt Becker and Beau Burke each finished with a pair of hits for Stockbridg­e.

REMSEN10, MORRISVILL­E-EATON2 » Morgan Rotach navigated the Morrisvill­e-Eaton lineup to great effect for Remsen on Tuesday, allowing two runs on four hits with double-digit run support from his offense for a 10-2 win. Ritchie Seaton took the loss for M-E.

HERKIMER 6, CANASTOTA 3 » Herkimer plated a seventh inning run to force extra innings against Canastota on Tuesday before tagging the Raiders for three runs in the top of the eighth for a 6-3 win, spoiling a seven inning, three run, 12 strikeout performanc­e by Canastota starter Ken Coe.

STOCKBRIDG­E 19, MADISON 12 » Stockbridg­e Valley plated nine runs in the fifth inning of Tuesday’s Central Counties League matchup against Madison to pull away for a 19-12 win. Alaina Beane went seven innings with 12 strikeouts for the Cougars in the win. Offensivel­y, Stockbridg­e was led by Jill Jacobs’ six RBI performanc­e. Sierra Tucci added an RBI for the Cougars on 3-of-3 hitting. Kayla Usborne homered for the Blue Devils in the loss.

HERKIMER 19, CANASTOTA 14 » Canastota was unable to dig its way out of a 10-1 second inning hole against Herkimer on Tuesday, falling to the Generals 19-14. Shelby Kilts doubled and triple for the Raiders in the loss. Emily Jory earned the win for Herkimer, while Hayley Patane suffered the loss for Canastota.
