18 graduate from Alternative Education program

VERNON, N.Y. » Eighteen high school seniors from the MOBOCES Alternative Education High School were recognized June 4 as candidates for graduation fromtheir home school districts. This year’s senior class: Camden: Bryan Abrams, Robert Croniser

Student of the Year: Noah Rivera (Rome) and Nolan Riley (Canastota)

During the ceremony, Noah Langston of Rome led the Pledge of Allegiance. Students and their families heard remarks from board member John Costello, Sr., Assistant Superintendent Patricia Vacca, Alternative Education Principal Owen Maranville, High School Coordinator Tonia Davis and Director of Alternative and Special Education James Weaver.
