Summer concert series begins July 8

ONEIDA » Oneida’s United Methodist Churches will sponsor a Summer Concert Series beginning Sunday, July 8 at 10 a.m. with Light of the World Ballet at First United Methodist Church, corner of Main and Grove streets.

Light of the World is a professional ballet company from Syracuse which performs nationally and internationally.

Other concerts scheduled are:

July 15, Classical Music featuring violinist Liz Friedel of Opus Black String Quartet, harpist Bambi Niles, and classical organ and piano, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 551 Sayles St.

July 22, Bluegrass Gospel with His Master’s Hand and Mike Tebo, at the pavilion at St. Paul’s UMC. There will be a free coffee bar and lemonade stand.

July 29, Praise, featuring the Praise Band and Choir from Oneida’s Methodist Churches, in the sanctuary at First Church.
