St. Lawrence University students have been awarded Internship Fellowships for the Summer of 2018.
Elsa M. Coughlin of Cazenovia. Coughlin is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in art and art history and government. Coughlin attended Cazenovia High School. Coughlin received the Vivien Gardner Hannon Internship Fellowship and will intern with NonProfit Incubator in Shanghai, China.
Makayla Rogers of Oriskany Falls. Rogers is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in neuroscience. Rogers attended Madison Central School. Rogers received the Stewart’s Shops and Dake Family Internship Fellowship Fund and will intern with Northern Area Health Education Center in Canton, New York.
David M. Stehle of Cazenovia. Stehle is a member of the Class of 2020 and is majoring in economics. Stehle attended Cazenovia High School. Stehle received the The Richard Carlson Career Services Internship Fund and will intern with U.S. News & World Report in Washington, D.C.
• Nearly 900 students have graduated from SUNY Canton.
“I’m tremendously proud of this year’s graduating class,” said SUNY Canton President Zvi Szafran. “Many of our graduates will go directly into careers corresponding with their field of study, while others will seek to continue their education. Regardless of their decision, I’m confident that they will be well prepared for their next adventure.”
This year’s class was comprised of nearly 900 graduates who range in age from 18 to 62 years old and represent 17 different states and 7 foreign countries, including Angola, Australia, The Bahamas, Cameroon, Finland, Sweden and Canada.

• SUNY Oswego has named high-performing students from the area to the President’s List for spring 2018 for earning grade point averages of 3.80 and above on the 4.00 scale.

Samantha E. Marti of US Route 20 in Cazenovia, a senior art major
