Salisbury was charged with third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, a class D felony; criminal possession of the precursors of methamphetamine, a class E felony; second-degree criminal possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials, a class A misdemeanor; and seventh-criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor. She was arraigned before the Oneida City Court and held at Madison County Jail on $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond. She is scheduled to reappear before the court at a later date.
While searches always come with inherent risks, Oneida Police Chief Paul Thompson noted that no one was in danger.
“I think there’s always danger anytime there’s drugs involved in any sort of situation, they bring an inherent danger, but there’s nothing specific that would warrant our concern out of the ordinary,” Thompson said.
