Master’s Touch Chorale to perform at festival

The Morrisville Community Church invites the public to join them for two days of fun and music.

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. » The Morrisville Community Church, 3824 Swamp Road, Morrisville, invites the public to join themin a Aug. 2526 for two days of fun.

On Saturday, Aug. 25, activities begin at 2 p.m. and include a carnival and bounce house for children, games and activities for adults, tours of the Clothes Basket and the Food Pantry, an historical display of the church, a cultural scarves program and time to visit with those who havemoved away and are returning to visit the church and community. The evening will feature a concert at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary by the Master’s Touch Chorale followed by a bonfire and singa-long.

On Sunday, Aug. 26, a worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. followed by a farewell brunch. All activities are free and open to the public.

TheMaster’s Touch Chorale is a choir of 44 dedicated Christian singers, some 28 churches of 17 denominations, who are united by their common faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and by His calling to spread His Good News in the ministry of mu- sic. The singers, frommany communities, professions and walks of life, meet every other Sunday evening throughout the year to rehearse and pray together, or to concertize to the glory of God.

Founded in April of 1993, The Master’s Touch is now in its 25th year of ministry under the musical direction of Warren Ottey, who also serves as Music Director and Organist at the Episcopal Church of St. Mark the Evangelist in Syracuse, N.Y., as well as Music Director of the new CNY Voices choral ensemble.
