Pie sale
BOUCKVILLE » Homemade pies by the slice or whole and baked goods will be available at the Bouckville Methodist Church on Route 20 right in the heart of the antique show in Bouckville. The sale is Aug. 16-18. The money is used to keep the church up to date and help through mission work. Everyone at the church participates where they are able. The pie sale has been held alongside the antique show since its inception.
Garage sale
HAMILTON » The First Baptist Church will host the 20th annual indoor-outdoor yard sale on Saturday, Aug. 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church, 127 Broad St., Hamilton.
Gospel concert in the park
ONEIDA » Seven area churches will hold a free concert in Allen Park in Oneida on Saturday, Aug. 18, from 3-5 p.m. called Gospel Concert in the Park. The event is free and there will be free hotdogs available.
Church sponsors are Abounding Love Fellowship in Durhamville, New Life Assembly of God in Oneida, Oneida Full Gospel Assembly, New Hope Community Church in Oneida, New Beginnings in Wampsville, Church on the Rock in Oneida, and Plymouth Alliance Church in Sherrill.
Separated and divorced support group
UTICA » The Separated and Divorced Support Group meets every other Sunday, 5-6:30 p.m. Upcoming meetings are Aug. 19, Sept. 9 and Sept. 23 at The Good News Center, 10475 Cosby Manor Road, Utica. The group meets in a warm, caring, confidential environment designed to help teach skills and practical information that will guide participants in rebuilding their lives after separation or divorce.
