Child Development Program job fair

UTICA » MVCAA is hosting a Job Fair on Wednesday, Aug. 22, from 2-6 p.m. at its 9882 River Road, Utica location.

Candidates are being sought for the following positions in its Child Development Program:

•Universal Pre-K Teachers - Must possess a current New York State Preschool Certification (N-6).

•Teachers - Minimum 2 year degree in Early Childhood Education.

•Early Head Start Home Visitor - Preferred: a Two (2) year degree in Early Childhood Education plus one (1) year specific training and/ or experience in infant/toddler; or Home-based CDA or comparable credential; or equivalent coursework of a CDA as part of an associate’s or bachelor’s degree.

•Child Development Site Supervisor - BS/BA in Early Childhood or related field w/ 12 credits of Early Childhood Coursework plus 1 year experience teaching in a Child Day Care program and 1 year experience supervising staff in a child care program or related field of work.

MVCAA’s Child Development Leadership Team will be in attendance to discuss these positions for the program, and qualified candidates for the above positions will be interviewed on site at the Job Fair.
