Players of Utica season kicks off Sunday

UTICA, N.Y. » Players of Utica opens its doors to a free season preview event on Sunday, Aug. 26 at 2 p.m. Directors and actors will present selected scenes andmusical numbers from the upcoming season.

Additional­ly, Players of Utica is also offering an Open Mic Night on Friday, Sept. 21, at 7:30 p.m., and a Footlights Halloween Cabaret on Tuesday, Oct. 30, at 7:30 p.m. Open Mic Night tickets are $10 and cabaret tickets are $15.

A Man for All Seasons - Sept. 7-9, 13-16

The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society’s Production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL - Dec. 7-9, 13-16

In this uproarious com- edy, the society ladies take on Dickens’ classic story while boldly contending with a dizzy cast, an intrusive PA system, and some original, show- stopping songs.
