Le Moyne College’s 68th Commencement Ceremony took place on Sunday, May 20, on the college’s campus. Approximately 630 members of the Class of 2018 participated in the ceremony including the following area students:

Lauren Ginocchetti, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, from Cazenovia.
Mark Gillmeister, a Bachelor of Arts in History, from Oneida.
Karissa Mitchell, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, from Oneida.
Alyssa Crane, a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems & Marketing, from Chittenango.
Ronald VanDyke, a Bachelor of Science in Management & Information Systems, from Oneida.

• Brook Denny, of Sherrill, daughter of Kip and Amber Denny, has been named to the Furman University dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester. Furman’s dean’s list is composed of full-time undergraduate students who earn a grade point average of 3.4 or higher on a fourpoint system.
• The University at Albany congratulates the more than 3,300 students who graduated at its 174th Commencement from May 18-20. Graduates from August 2017 and December 2017 were also recognized.

• Several SUNY Oswego students fromthe area took part in internships in summer 2018 with a wide variety of employers through the college’s Center for Experiential Learning, providing a strong on-the-job learning experience to amplify their coursework.
