Support the United Way

Dear Friends:

The United Way of Greater Oneida is once again holding its annual Kick-Off Luncheon. This year it will be held on Thursday, Sept. 20 at noon at the Kallet Civic Center. Tickets will be $12 each and it is open to the public. There will be many very nice raffle items and also a 50/50 raffle.

The Oneida United Way holds its kick off luncheon each year in September to begin the campaign to support 15 local agencies in the area. We realize that in these times it is difficult to give a contribution to all the people that are asking. The unique thing about the United Way is that you can give a contribution and it will help not only one person or organization but hundreds of people within the 15 agencies.

The board members of the United Way are dedicated people within this community who are committed to making a difference. They are your friends, neighbors or co-workers who realize that there is a need to lend a hand.

Please consider coming to the luncheon, meeting these board members, asking questions and learning more about this wonderful organization. There will also be members of the 15 agencies at the luncheon so you can meet them and get to know them. The need is great in this community and beyond. Come and enjoy a delicious lunch, maybe win a raffle and know that you are helping so many others.
