Police still searching for whereabouts of Christopher Santilli
ONEIDA, N.Y. >> One of two men who were being sought following an Oct. 19 home invasion and armed robbery in Oneida has been captured.
Victor J. Alamo-Clemente, 23, of Syracuse, was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 23, around 8:15 p.m., after members of the United States Marshals Service (USMS) NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force found him at a residence on East Fayette Street in Syracuse.
Per the arrest warrant, he was turned over to the Oneida City Police Department’s Investigative Unit, and transported back to Oneida PD, where he was charged with first-degree burglary; second-degree burglary; two counts of first-degree robbery; two counts of second-degree robbery; thirddegree assault; two counts of second-degree menacing; two counts of second-degree unlawful imprisonment; and endangering the welfare of a
child.
Police say Alamo- Clemente, along with Christopher W. Santilli, 35, of Munnsville, John Santiago, 23, from Syracuse, and Donnie Deverso, 42, from Solvay, broke into a resident on Stone Street in the city of Oneida in the early morning hours of Oct. 19. A 43-year-old male victim was assaulted and restrained, and a 13-year-old female victim was also restrained. Police say at least one handgun was displayed and possibly discharged during this incident.
Santiago and Deverso were arrested after the incident, but Alamo- Clemente and Santilli escaped in what police believe was Santilli’s vehicle, a white colored Dodge Ram 3500 dually, bearing NY license plates- 90345MJ. The firearm that was discharged at the scene has yet to be recovered.
Santilli remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous. Law enforcement officers are requested to take Santilli and said vehicle into custody, and to contact the Oneida City Police Department immediately at 315-363-2323.
Citizens should not try to approach or apprehend, but contact local police immediately and advise of the suspects’/vehicle location, or call 911.
Alamo-Clemente was arraigned before the Oneida City Court and held at Madison County Jail on $100,000 bail or $200,000 bond. He is scheduled to reappear before the court at a later time.
