During a soggy downpour on Saturday, Nov. 3, Mack outpaced the majority of a 120runner Class B field at the Section III Cross Country championships, placing third overall to qualify for the New York State Championships. A freshman, Mack tackled the Chittenango circuit in 21:51.4, making her one of four runners in the Class B field to post a sub-22 minute time.
