Oneida quartet receive all-star nods

The Oneida tennis team continued its dominance on the courts this season, running the table for an undefeated season and Section III Class B title.

Lauren Skibitski, Sydney Lusher, Molly Moyer, and Emily Marshall played significant roles in helping Todd Hicks’ Oneida side capture its first sectional banner since 2015.

For their efforts throughout the 2018 season, the Oneida quartet drew allstar recognition from the Tri-Valley League.

Skibitski, who surpassed 100 career victories during the regular season, and Lusher were named singles All-Stars, while Moyer and Marshall secured spots on the doubles All-Star team.

Like Oneida, Notre Dame placed four on all-star rosters. Sisters Ellen and Emily Lyga earned singles spots, while teammates Samantha Fluty and Caitlyn Snyder were named doubles allstars.

New Hartford’s Grace LaFountain rounds out the singles all-stars.

Whitesboro duo Kylie Cleary and Karlie Cubino
