Ask lawmakers to promote living faith

I am asking local elected officials on the Vernon Town Board and the Oneida Common Council, after receiving input from their community, to issue a simple memorializing resolution, asking all ministers of all faiths to join publicly and encourage all to pray for the graces to acquire all the essential attributes of a truly living faith, the attributes that God uses to determine if our faith is truly living, or dying or even dead, as a starting point.

I ask all people of good will to contact their elected representatives and encourage them to investigate whether or not they should also consider such a simple memorializing resolution that is impartial to any details of faith people believe.

I ask news reporters and agencies to consider whether or not, IF THIS IDEA should be supported by all ministers of all faiths and might be so supported, IF then this might be newsworthy.

The next Town of Vernon Board meeting is March 11, 2019 and the next Oneida City Common Council meeting is March 5, 2019.

If all people of good will should try to do all they can to help others to seek and acquire all the attributes that God decrees are essential to a truly living faith in Him, should we not all do all we can to help our representatives try to do all they can to help all ministers of all faiths do in unity, publicly, what many are doing privately in their Churches?

Will other elected representatives help get this idea improved and rolling?
