CLINTON, N.Y. >> The Hamilton College Department of Music student ensembles present end of semester concerts for choir, jazz, orchestra, and chamber ensembles in the Schambach Center for Music and the Performing Arts.

Heather Buchman conducts the Hamilton College Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 3, in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center. The program includes

Brahms’s Symphony No. 3 in F Major, Op. 90 and Griffes’s Poem for Flute and Orchestra, with Edwin Brennan, flute.

The Hamilton College Chamber Ensembles lead a spring tour through Schambach Center on Sunday, May 5, at 7:30 p.m. The concert begins and end in Wellin Hall and includes performanc­es by the percussion, flute, clarinet, brass, and saxophone ensembles, plus hamstrings and piano duets.

“Doc” Woods leads the Hamilton College Jazz Ensemble in their final concert of the semester on Tuesday, May 7, at 7:30 p.m. in Café Opus. The concert will feature new work for big band jazz plus jazz standards and student vocalists.

The College Hill Singers and student voice soloists perform on Wednesday, May 8, at 7:30 p.m. in Wellin Hall. Under the direction of Danan Tsan, the College Hill Singers are performing Frostiana by Randall Thompson with poetry by Robert Frost. The second half of the program features solos by students in choir who also take voice lessons.
