HAMILTON8, STOCKBRIDG­E VALLEY 4>> Sean Hunt went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two steals to lead Hamilton past Stockbridg­e Valley on Tuesday. John Dudrick followed with a 2-for-3 night for the Emerald Knights, who rode starter Blaine Hughes’ arm to victory. Wyatt Becker paced Stockbridg­e Valley with two RBI and a triple on 2-for-3 hitting.

CAMDEN19, CENTRAL VALLEY ACADEMY4>> Lily Sullivan went 4-for-5 with a trio of runs batted in to lead the Camden Blue Devils to a convincing win over the CVA Thunder on Tuesday. Teammate Payge Graner also posted four hits, going 4-for-4 with three RBI. In fact, all of Billy Sullivan’s Blue Devil batters posted a hit in the win for Camden, while Laura VanHoven (W) and Abigail Walker split time in the circle. MADISON9, FABIUS-POMPEY6>> State-ranked No. 24 Madison broke up a 4-4 tie in the top of the sixth, posting three runs. Then, the Blue Devils tacked on two more in the top of the seventh to ensure the win over state-ranked No. 4 Fabius-Pompey (7-2). Braelynn Merrell led the Madison attack with three RBI on 3-for-5 hitting.

Boys Golf

VERNON-VERONA-SHERRILL 238, ONEIDA FORFEIT>> With Oneida forfeiting due to a four-player roster, VVS’ win was guaranteed, but that didn’t stop Red Devil Phoenix Weydig from shooting two-off-par 38 at his home course. Jack Kallet paced Oneida with a 45.

VERNON-VERONA-SHERRILL 9, CAMDEN7>> VVS outscored Camden 9-1 across the final four innings of play to steal a win in extras in Camden on Monday. With two on and two outs in the top of the eighth, Bryce Cousin tripled to give his Red Devils a 9-7 lead. Blake VanDreason, working in relief, tossed a scoreless bottom of the eighth to ensure the win for Chad Hodkinson’s Red Devils. VanDreason drove in three for VVS, while teammates Alex Kipp and Cousin plated two runs each. Colin Stace swallows the loss for Camden in 2.3 innings of relief. Shallen Simpson led the Blue Devils with two hits in the defeat. ONEIDA16, CENTRAL VALLEY ACADEMY0>> Nate Jennings went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two runs, and two RBI to fuel Oneida in a 16-0 TVL win over CVA. Lukas Albro added a double and two RBI on 3-for-4 hitting for Oneida, and teammate Andrew Brown tacked on a pair of runs on 2-for-4 hitting. Alex Tooker yielded two hits and one walk while striking out seven for the complete-game shutout. HAMILTON12, NEWYORK MILLS11>> Already sporting a 3-for-4 line with two doubles prior to his final at-bat, Hamilton sophomore Logan Campbell saved his best for last. Campbell scored teammate Sean Hunt with a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh to cap three-run inning and comeback win for Joe LePage’s Emerald Knights. Sean and Ryan Hunt ended with the same line for Hamilton in the win: 2-for-5 with a double, RBI, and two runs scored.

ONEIDA15, CENTRAL VALLEY ACADEMY1 >> Oneida belted out 19 hits for 15 runs behind starting pitcher Kyra Shlotzhaue­r, not that the senior needed that much run support. Shlotzhaue­r surrendere­d one run on three hits and no walks while striking out seven for the win. Kaylin Curro, Lauren Skibitski, Emily Marshall, Shlotzhaue­r, and Reilly White all boasted multi-hit evenings for Mike Curro’s side.

STOCK BRIDGE VALLEY 22, MCGRAW1 >> Ashley Wilson and Maddy Cross rapped out three hits a piece to push Stockbridg­e past McGraw on Monday. Cross joined teammate Markalynn Eaton with a teamhigh three RBI on the night. Stockbridg­e improves to 7-0 following the victory.

MADISON36, OTSELICVAL­LEY0>> Kayla Usborne belted two doubles and a triple, driving in seven runs during her 5-for-6 night at the plate to lead Madison in a shutout over Otselic Valley. Jaiden Baker tossed a one-hitter for the Blue Devils in the win, striking out five as Madison improved to 5-2 on the year.

HAMILTON25, NEWYORK MILLS1>> Emma Basher and Beth Belanger combined to no-hit New York Mills in a blowout win for Hamilton. Kyleigh Pearson went 4-for-5 with a homer and five RBI for Hamilton in the win, and teammate Lauren Rodriguez went 5-for-5, scoring four times and driving in five runs as Hamilton moves to 6-2 on the season.

Girls Golf

CAMDEN231, VERNON-VERONA-SHERRILL 255>> Danielle Caringi shot a matchlow 46 to spur Camden to a TVL win over VVS. Madison Bird added a 54 for Camden, while Laney Falkenmeye­r paced VVS with a 53.

Boys Golf

CENTRAL VALLE YACADEMY 264, ONEIDAFORF­EIT >> Central Valley won Monday’s TVL match via forfeit, but Oneida’s Jack Kallet shot a match-low 42 to lead all golfers. Nolan Stone closed with a 43 for CVA.
