Food Pantry open

Vernon — The Holy Family Church Food Pantry on Peterboro Road in Vernon serves families in Vernon, Vernon Center, Sherrill, Oneida Castle and Oriskany Falls. The food pantry is open the first and third Monday and Friday of every month. Monday is open 5-6:30 p.m. and Friday is open 9:30-11 a.m. Fresh food is the fourth Thursday of every month open 3-4:30 p.m. The pantry will be open the following dates: Monday, June 17; Friday, June 21; and Thursday, June 27.

Teens for Christ

Clinton — The Utica Area Teens for Christ Garage Sale will be held June 27-29 at the Clinton Arena Ice Skating Rink, 36 Kirkland Ave., Clinton, NY, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Donations are also accepted as follows: Saturdays, June 1, 15, 10 a.m to 2 p.m., June 22, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sundays, June 2, 23, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.; andMonday, Wednesday and Friday, June 3, 5, 7 and 21, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Donations are tax deductible and arrangemen­ts can be made for pick up. Please be sure that items are in good condition. No clothes, TV’s, entertainm­ent centers, mattresses, computers or books.

Stone Soup

Verona — Stone Soup, a community dinner, will be served at the Verona First Presbyteri­an Church on the corner of Rock Road and Main Street from 4:30- 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 27. The meal will be served by the Verona First United Methodist Church congregati­on. All are welcome to attend. A free will offering will be accepted and donated to the Verona Area Food Pantry.

Verona blood drive

Verona — There will be an American Red Cross Blood Drive at the Verona First Presbyteri­an Church on the corner of Rock Road and Main Street from 1-6 p.m. on Friday, June 28. To schedule an appointmen­t, visit redcrossbl­ood.org or phone 1-800-REDCROSS (1-800-733-2767). Donors will receive a coupon for a pint of Stewart’s Ice Cream. Walk-ins will be welcomed.

Rummage sale

New London — The New London United Methodist Church will have a rummage sale in June, July and August on the third Saturday of every month from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on County Route 50 next to the New London Fire House. The sales will feature miscellane­ous items.

Holy Land trip

Utica — The Good News Center will host a pilgrimage to the Holy Land Nov. 30 through Dec. 10, led by Mark Kaminski, as well as a local guidewho lives in Israel. The trip will visit the sites of Bethlehem, Nazareth, Cana, the Sea of Galilee, and more. Prices include first-class accommodat­ions, airfare, ground transporta­tion and some meals.
