3 charged in meth bust
ONEIDA, N.Y. >> Three people were arrested early Wednesday morning for operating a meth lab in the city of Oneida.
The Oneida City Police Department, the New York State Police Special Operations Response Team, and the Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team-executed a no-knock search warrant at an apartment at 414 Lenox Ave. in
Oneida. During the search, police say they located evidence of illegal methamphetamine manufacturing and the unlawful disposal of the same.
Police say the search warrant was the culmination of an investigation conducted by the Oneida City Police-Department’s Investigations Unit, followings tips from members of the community.
Based on the investigation, and the evidence found, investigators have charged the suspects with the following charges:
Heather Kirk, 42, of Oneida, was charged with three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance; thirddegree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine; criminal possession of precursors of methamphetamine; unlawful disposal of meth lab materials; seconddegree criminal possession ofmethamphetaminemanufacturingmaterials; seconddegree criminal use of drug paraphernalia; second-degree reckless endangerment; and fifth-degree conspiracy.
Jennifer Mott, 42, of Oneida, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance; seconddegree criminal possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials; and fifth-degree conspiracy.
Brian Kimpel, 43, of Oneida, was charged with unlawful disposal of meth lab materials; second-degree criminal possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials; second-degree reckless endangerment; and fifth-degree conspiracy.
