Republican Committee should endorse Bennati

I amwriting this letter to inform the Vernon Town Republican Committee that I, Eugene Bennati, am submitting my name as a candidate to run for reelection as a Councilman on the Vernon Town Board for the next Town elections, this Fall 2019.

I am requesting the endorsement from the Vernon Town Republican Committee to be placed on the ballot as the Republican candidate for this council seat.

I have served on the board for a number of years. I have the interest, the drive, the experience and the desire to run again.

Vote Gordon for county exec

As your next county executive, I will introduce legislation never before seen in Oneida County’s history. I have a plan to reduce Oneida County’s property tax by 20 percent over 4 years. I will also reduce the sales tax by a total of ½ percent over that same period, making our area conducive to growth and stability.

We need jobs. Real sustainable jobs come from healthy, fiscally responsibly communities that promote small businesses to succeed and for homeowners to continue investing in their community, not running from them. If we do not reduce our taxes, people will continue leaving for greater opportunity in places like Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida.

Our community’s success relies heavily on our ability to make tough economic decisions in government. I will make those tough choices. I have a successful track record in business having successfully navigated the private sector. I will do the same in and for the people of Oneida
