CycleNation Utica event

New Hartford — A CycleNation Utica event will take place Thursday, Nov. 7 at the Thrive Athletic Center. Registration begins at 3:30 p.m. This “party on a bike” helps raise awareness and funds in the fight against stroke.

Veteran’s Day event

Canastota — The Canastota Post #140 will hold several cermonies on Veteran’s Day. On Monday, Nov. 11, the post will host a ceremony at the Mount Pleasant ( Veterans Section) Cemetery at 10 a.m. at 10:30 a.m., the post will host a ceremony at the CanastotaMunicipal Building. There will be another ceremony at Clark Park at 11 a.m. and a Flag Burning Ceremony at 1 p.m. at the Legion Parking Lot (weather permitting).

Veteran’s dinner

Vernona — Verona Councilman Fritz Scherz will hold his 9th Annual Thank You Dinner for all Town of Verona Veterans and their families on Sunday, Nov. 11th from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Verona Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6811 (4928 Spring Rd.) in Verona.
