Oneida Health to host job fair
Looking for a new job? On Feb. 26, Oneida Health will be hosting a Get Hired Job Fair from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Gorman Community Center located at 1081 Northside Shopping Center in Oneida.
In an effort to conduct meaningful, productive engagement between candidates and employers, Oneida Health representatives will be on hand for voluntary on the spot interviews for a number of positions.
“The purpose of the job fair is to give candidates the opportunity to get to know Oneida Health through meet and greets, and informal interviews, which may fast-track them to getting hired,” Human Resources Manager at Oneida Health Mike Messer smith said in a news release. “We are actively looking to meet candidates who are ready for a rewarding career in healthcare that fit our culture of exceptional care, always.”
Among many healthcare-related positions such as radiology, laboratory, and nursing, they will also be seeking individuals
for non-clinical positions. These positions include fields such as housekeeping, dietary, patient access and medical office assistants, to name a few.
All available positions cover a range of skills and required experience.
To work with Oneida Health means to serve an area comprised of approximately 29 communities in Madison and western Oneida counties. The press release lists that the organization includes a 101-bed acute care hospital, emergency department, state of the art surgery center, 160-bed extended-care and short-term rehab facility, primary care offices, internal medicine, comprehensive lab services, home medical equipment, comprehensive imaging services, outpatient therapy, and care specialties in: oncology, neurology, podiatry, vascular, sleep, OB/GYN, orthopedics, wound care, GI, and ENT.
“If you are currently working in healthcare or interested in beginning, we want to meet you to discuss the opportunities we have at Oneida Health,” Messersmith said. “We offer competitive pay, flexible schedules, premium benefits, and an exceptional work culture.”
