My name is Richard Bennett and I’m a candidate for Mayor in Canastota N.Y. In the last eight years are sewer man holes are caving in all over are village streets along with are storm sewers with are filled with dirt and the reason is they haven’t been cleaned in eight years of this leadership. I’ve been posting pictures of this since I announced I was running for Mayor, today I noticed that they are fixing some of them ( but this is for political reasons for which our current Mayor is now pushing for her pick to succeed her) but I think our residents are wise to this political move. Eight years nothing has been done but just today a couple of weeks before election there working on fixing the man holes. We cannot walk on majority of sidewalks because of the conditions of them, pigeon droppings under are underpasses which is so unsanitary yet all I hear we can’t do anything about this yet they do not even try. Roads are in terrible shape threw out this village. That’s why I’m running as a full time Mayor to be on the job 7 days a week to work with are department heads to start improving are village. I’m also donating my salary to the Parkinson’s foundation our area churches , our Fire department and our Opportunity shop. I’m asking are residents for your vote September 15TH for your vote for Mayor and we will get things done, if elected my door will be open at all times to here any complaints you have, plus have good working relations with our employees instead of friction which has been in the last eight years. I’m asking for you vote September 15TH.

Thank You Richard Bennett
