Oneida Nation Enterprises updates out- of- state screening requirements
CENTRAL NEW YORK » Oneida Nation Enterprises ( ONE) has updated its health and safety plan to include new screening requirements for out- of- state guests ( excluding border states) starting Nov. 6, 2020.
These updates align with the state of New York’s ongoing efforts to limit community spread of COVID- 19, according to ONE, andwill take effect at all Oneida Nation Enterprises venues, including Turning Stone Resort Casino, Point Place Casino, YBR Casino & Sports Book, and The Lakehouse at Sylvan Beach.
Guests traveling from any state other than New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Vermont are permitted to enter Oneida Nation Enterprises’ gaming facilities after the following requirements are completed:
• Quarantine for three days after arrival to New York state, at a location other than Turning Stone Resort Casino or Oneida Nation properties;
• Obtain a negative COVID- 19 test ( PCR, RNA, or antigen test) on or after day four of their arrival.
• Present an acceptable form of ID ( valid state- issued ID), proof of arrival date to new york state, and a copy of their negative COVID- 19 test results in order to enter the properties.
Guests traveling from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Vermont are not subject to these requirements, but will be required to provide an acceptable form of ID ( valid state- issued ID). Guests are required to provide a state- issued ID to assist with Oneida Nation Enterprises’ contact tracing program.
Employees of Oneida Nation Enterprises who travel outside of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Vermont for more than 24 hours cannot return to work for fourteen days, unless the following requirements are completed:
• Obtain a negative COVID- 19 test ( PCR, RNA, or antigen test) within three days of leaving the state they are visiting.
• Quarantine for three days after returning to New York State.
• Obtain a second COVID- 19 test ( PCR or RNA test) on the fourth day after returning to New York.
Employees who travel outside of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, or Vermont for less than 24 hours are required to obtain a COVID- 19 test ( PCR or RNA test) four days after their return to New York state in order to return to work.
The following protocols will continue to remain in place at all Oneida Enterprise properties:
• Mandatory face coverings
• Restaurants limiting occupancy to 50% capacity and enforcing physical distancing when face coverings are not feasible
• No shows, concerts, or large gatherings on the premises, with nightclubs remaining closed to the public.
• Enhanced sanitation and cleanliness procedures also remain in effect, including amuch higher HVAC changeover level,
which exceeds the standards required by commercial code.
• Gloves required for all employees who are working in direct contact with guests.
• Daily non- invasive contactless temperature checks for all employees and health screening survey to identify potential exposure to coronavirus.
